An early start this morning & getting a whole group of athletes & staff on a bus to depart before 8am is certainly a challenge...& surprise surprise it was 2 of the sprinters that were last & late. All passports checked on the bus, by Lorraine, our throws coach & off we went...only the passport check was conducted before Chagunda & Nathaneel got on, so as we neared St Pancras Station, Chagunda realised he had left his passport in the bed side table at the hotel! Only a sprinter!
So with the exception of myself (joining the guys this evening at the hotel as I had been scheduled to travel later following a weekend meet with the relay teams, that the guys eventually withdrew from), Chagunda & Jonas, the team headed off under the Channel.
