A full-on day at the conference, full of interesting conversations & meetings. John Norwig the head trainer at the Pittsburgh Steelers greeted Stephen warmly when he bumped into him & added that “we were part of their season after having spent some time working with them in pre-season”, whilst we also met with a potential business ally in the USA for our products business, Hi-Innovation Ltd. Once again, watch this space as we try to raise investment to push on from the newly acquired prototypes through research (currently studies being conducted at Edinburgh Napier University, Copenhagen University & in Danish handball) & into production.

Other familiar friendly faces met us with hugs & smiles including Cathy Ortega (current WFATT president), Leah Washington (NATA conference organiser), Larry Leverinz (an inductee in waiting to the NATA Hall of Fame at tomorrow's ceremony), Reed Ferber (bowtied owner of the Running Clinic in Calgary & serial publisher of some great research in association with Calagary University students under his supervision) & several of the BOC crew that have been working with us to ensure the website seminars will be eligible for continuing education unit credits for the athletic trainers.

The evening was spent chasing from reception to reception following numerous invites that came our way. Thanks to Georgia Tech & the Japanese Athletic Training Organisation for their hospitality. As a result, fatigue has now set in & whilst Stephen heads home tomorrow, I will be left to fly the flag at the Professional Baseball Trainer's party, the BOC reception & the notorious but great fun annual DJO party. Guess I can sleep on the plane!
